MEET CREPUSCULAR:

THE BEAT MUSIC/PRODUCTION DUO OF MILES FARNAN AND HARRISON SMITH. THEIR SOUND MARRIES THE BARE FREEDOM OF JAZZ IMPROVISATION WITH DIRTY BREAKBEATS, GRIME & HIP HOP – TIED TOGETHER WITH THE JUCIEST OF HORNLINES & SOLOS REMINISCENT OF PURE NOCTURNAL CHAOS

In the middle of June, Miles and Harrison went up to Forest Range Studios in the Adelaide Hills for 4 consecutive days, with no plan in mind. They ended up writing 8 tracks, recording everything as they went. Collaborations were both spontaneous and planned, with Daniel Isler coming up to the studio straight off the plane from touring down in Tassie to jump on three tracks, and Lachlan McGargill Spontaneously dropping in on the last day in the studio to rip a shredding solo. The result is 22 minutes of music that feels authentic to the place and time of everyone involved.
