Meet Tell Mama: A cast of five jazz-musicians living & making music on unceded Kaurna country. Think soulful vocals reminiscent of classic Motown with modern beats and rich basslines. Tell Mama’s music aims to honour soul’s roots while offering a fresh take on life and love – one that will make you want to get up and groove. 

Last December, the band released their highly anticipated debut record, ‘Console Me’- A smooth and sparkly blend of clean contemporary grooves with all the charm of old-school soul, jazz and Hip Hop - featuring their hyped singles, ‘Freedom Rising’, ‘Honey’, & ‘Fragile Woman/Shoulders Deep’.

The album was met with shining reviews from local fans and publications such as The Note magazine, Three D radio and Duck! Radio. With the support of local independent label, Home Body Records, their debut release was pressed to vinyl in June 2024 and is now available in record stores Australia wide.
